Chihuly Gallery in Las Vegas
During my Sin City trip a few weeks ago, my boyfriend and I literally stumbled upon a gallery at the new City Center, Las Vegas development that featured the work of the renowned artist, Dale Chihuly. The gallery featured many of the colorful blown glass sculptures that has made him famous, as well as a number of paintings he has created in recent years. We spent well over an hour talking with the curator, Mary, about his work and a few of the pieces on display, and were even lucky enough to see a few of the items that are not on display to the public. It was very cool to hear about his inspiration and all that goes into creating these magnificent pieces.

So beautiful... Chihuly is amazing. What I would give to have Chihuly pieces hanging in my grand foyer some day... sigh
